All and all, had a positive experience. They seem to be firm about what they can/can’t do when it comes to repairs/refunds/compensations, so just stick to your guns and it’ll be ok. Pro tip 1: The employee named Guy is the best- he was great with customer service. Pro tip 2: if you want to engrave a watch, inspect it beforehand to be sure there’s no issue with it - otherwise, if you want to return it due to an issue that was present before putting it on, you’ll have headache.

I've bought a couple of charms and jewelery pieces here. The items are all great quality. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Worst service. Bought a wedding band on dec 27th. The vendor (Nicolas) said they had my size in another store, should take 2-3 days to get it. 5 days later: no news so I call them. 3 calls are needed because only my vendor can answer me. He says the other store did not have it so a special order is needed. He says it should take 1 month. 1 1/2 month later: No news. I call them. Again, only Nicolas can answer me so we echange calls and messages before we speak. They have received the band. Why haventh they called me?!? When I try it, it's too large because the sizing ring in store has a.different texture (I understand this can happen). I nedd to pay in full and they will try to resize the ring (they don't know if it's do-able, only the lab knows) 3 days later, they call me... The lab can't resize, a special order is needed. 3-4 weeks and they promise to call me back when tbey get it (I insist on that point) 2 months later: No news. I call them again. Again, we need 3-4 calls before I can get to speak to Nicolas, because no other employee has the right to speak to me. Nicolas says there has been a problem with the order, blames the head quarter for the mistake (as if it was a distinct company). Can't promise anything about the delay but says he'll call the next Monday when he'll know the delay. Next monday: he doesn't call(again!!!!) So I call. He has no idea about the delay, but rhe order was placed again. I explain how bad my case was handled, while they have my money and I only have a yellow paper in exchange. Says he's sorry and they can reinburse (remember, its a wedding band I bought, I need it for the wedding, I cant go shopping again with no insurance I'll get it on time!!). I ask for a money compensation. He says hell check with the manager thr next day. Next day: no news so I call back on the evening. He didint check with the manager but she's gone. He says we're close to getting the ring. I explain again that I ham unhappy with the service. This time being more insistant. Surprise : he calls back 15 minutes later and he just got the news from the headquarters that I will get my ring 4 days later (how convenient). The manager calls the next day and leaves a message saying shes sorry. Now we are 4 days later at 6 pm and... They haven't called me yet! Conclusion: stay away, you pay more at birks to get a good service but you will not get it and you will be lucky if you get the jewelry you paid for! Carrefour laval is their worst store!

Awful service, went in to ask for a ring adjustment, the lady behind the counter acted as if we were bothering her.

i bought 2 items for my wife' bd and it was during their specials and i kept it till my occasion and i found out that they gave me the braclets instead of the neckless for the same model and when i went to explain my situation the lady told me i can t do anything but to rembourse you.. i mean come on .. it was one of ur vendor s fault and i m sure that u can do better..anyway i wont buy anymore from this store...for me it was a bad experience

Worst service for a jewlery! Brought my watch to fix it and they broke it even more! I've been waiting 3 months for them to get it fixed.

Its fake silver!! All it is is painted metal! Got a silver ring a couple years ago for a present and it turned my finger green for 2 weeks everytime it got wet! For Christmas i got a beautiful pair of the silver heart shaped earnings..they were breaking my ears out( i can only wear real silver or gold) so i took then out to clean them and put them in a drop of peroxide and water( how i clean all my silver earings with no problem) and all the "silver" pant came off and they are now just ugly metal!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! People are being over charged for FAKE silver!!! Very very disappointed!

DO NOT SHOP AT HENRI BENDEL!!! I had an issue with returning a Christmas gift to the store (with the receipt). I followed up by contacting customer service - also very unhelpful. This is the second time I have had a customer satisfaction issue with Bendel’s. What happened to Wexner’s no sales is ever final/ customer is always right philosophy?? So I say again DO NOT SHOP AT HENRI BENDEL. Spend your dollars at a retailer more focused on customer service.

I went though a situation where I could no longer bring myself to wear the necklace someone had bought me. When I told the company about the situation they never hesitated to make sure I got a new necklace of my choice. I sent the old one back and got a new one all free of charge. No shipping on the return or the new product. I wish all companies could be like them!! THANK YOU!
