Today I went into the store to get a replacement chain for my great grandmothers necklace. Once I got to the store Jason greeted me and asked how he could help. I explained that the chain had been broken while my great grandmother was in the hospital and that she had passed away last night. Jason showed me the options and even cleaned up the charm for me. He actually gave us the replacement chain at no charge! The compassion and customer service he showed to me in this difficult time was second to none. Normally the staff is very helpful. Now that they and Leroys are all part of the same company I usually have them clean all my rings and check them. This past weekend however I went looking for a new ring for Christmas. the gentleman I usually work with was busy (as it is the Christmas season) so I let the first guy that walked up help me. I made the mistake of starting with the expensive Leo Diamonds, so when I told him I wasn't looking to spend quite that much he handed me a catalog instead of showing what else he had in the store. Kay's loss. WE ended up buying from Littman's in Huntington instead. He may have thought I wasn't worth his time and energy but he missed out.
