I wish I would have called them first. They made the process simple, answered my questions and had the best rate up front. I was a first time home buyer and with lots of questions. I worked with Elizabeth Hewes and she was great!

Heheh i have read all reviews and all you guys complained about was NSF fees. Hahahaha you morons, you are the type of morons that have made the mortgage lender tighten up everything on their policies.... you are the people that are going to turn that minimum downpayment to 10% you are those ones that have turned the 30yr option with 20% and yet blame your lenders.... im in my 3rd yr of my 5yr mortgage term and not ONCE have i had to call them not once. Only reason i seen this today and searched was to see if they are open saturdays and my reason for call in? Upgrading/porting mortgage!!! Pay your bills you are the ones to go mortgage broke and make it tighter for them newbuyers that are actually financially ready.

Worst bank ever ... They complicate things and they say its rules ... How come rules apply on your bank only?? Spadina branch is the worst ...

After a month of back and forth with this company and providing them with an absolutely absurd amount of documentation, they decided that my wife does not have a permanent full time position, even though she provided a tour of duty letter to them a month ago stating this. They say that they called her HR department and were told that she does not have a guaranteed full time permanent position, which is a flat out lie, as this call never even took place, as was confirmed by the people in HR. Now after being approved, they have backed out 5 days from closing leaving us at risk of losing our deposit, being sued, and having nowhere to live. Avoid this "lender" at all costs, as they seem to be more interested in potentially ruining lives than helping people.
