I'm a current resident in LaSalle Fitness. They have pretty much all the equipment I need with pool and sauna. New management, nice staff, clean and tidy environment. Overall, it is a great place to workout!

Cute place for kids b-day parties in barrhaven. A little small but young ones don't seem to mind. Zipline is a hit.

A wonderful studio space with excellent teachers!

One of the best massage therapists I've ever had! She incorporates deep breathing and stretching into the massage for a truly relaxing experience. I always leave feeling so calm and peaceful. I'd highly recommend her to anyone!

If you go to planet fitness in the Ottawa area and love small gyms, I suggest going to this one. However if you were to visit the merivale location you feel like you are getting ripped off as it is literally ten times bigger with more equipment. I would label the Robertson location as a beginner gym and I feel like they should charge their clients only ten dollars a month at this gym as when you go to the merivale location you will see why. Other than that, the employees are very nice and friendly and always willing to give you a helping hand.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY-Myself and boyfriend have membership there and after we split up on May 30 I asked them to remove his membership from being taken from my account, they refused until I told them I was applying a stop payment to my account then they transferred his membership into someone else's name and told me remove the stop payment asap as a payment was coming out on June 4, I wanted confirmation that it was in fact removed so June 2 I went in, confirmed it was removed and asked to pay for my membership in full, I was told I could not as it was coming out of my account on Monday and to make sure the stop payment was removed. I called and had it removed and then Thursday received an email from them stating I owed 2 $30 for payments not going thorough one on June 1 and one on June 4, I was upset and went to facebook and posted on what to do about my situation and did not name the company but received a angry comment from the owner and 2 minutes later an even angrier phone call, she was raising her voice at me very angrily and refusing to allow me to speak and cut me off every time I did try to speak. She said I should call the bank and have them credit me the fees as it was their error, not hers and if it was her error she would be happy to waive the fee. My bank credited me the $30, but not the $30 from the June 1 charge as I had not contacted them until June 2 to remove. So I asked Howe Fit if they would waive the other $30 as they had not notified me that there would be anything coming out on June 1 and they said they would not. I said I would not pay the fee as it was their error and would come in and pay the balance owing minus the $30 fee. This was their response: "The NSF must be paid in full. You will not be able to only pay part of the total owing. If you refuse to pay the entire $125.09, this amount plus the collections fee will have to be sent off." I told them that I would come in and pay the fee minus the $30 and if they refused the payment I would leave it on the desk and take a photo of it as proof of payment. They have not responded since but I am pretty sure this is not legal and it is surely beyond unprofessional!

I was a member for just under a year and couldn’t wait to get out. Staff is rude and don’t make you feel welcome, the equipment is always broken and takes forever to get fixed (that’s if it even does get fixed), the studios mirrors are all cracked and broken and look like they’re about to fall off the wall, the 1 year contract has lupeholes that rope you in and make you pay for 2 extra months after you cancel. There’s also been lots of thefts in the locker rooms in the last little bit. You get what you pay for, cheap membership equals out to a cheap gym, especially with the new VIP membership changing from being able to bring a guest for free to now 5$ each visit?! . Since canceling at world I’ve become a member at GoodLife and highly recommend it!
