Dukelton aka Dukey aka Poopy Dukey aka Duke came home extremely happy and extremely tuckered out after his week long stay at Barkers. The team there was professional and they have a beautiful facility. Will definitely be using them again and soon!

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. There's tea and coffee for free 24/7 and the breakfast was suprisingly good - they even had bagels and croissants. Served in plastic dishes and no meat or fresh cheese, though.

Spacious, clean rooms, nice deep bathtub + shower, really friendly family run motel with a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back for sure!

AMAZING experience, especially for the price!!! We were in a bind and had to find a hotel within a few hours as we were coming from Banff. Called and booked a king size room, and the guy was very pleasant on the phone. We had some fears looking at google maps, and once we got there we were a little alarmed as it's not the greatest area. Once we got into the room however, it was just WOW, so much nicer than we were expecting and very very CLEAN!! The whole motel is newly renovated, so everything is new and modern. Even the outside of the building looked nice. They have complimentary breakfast, and the pet fee was only $20/night as opposed to $25 with most other places, so that was even more value added to the already amazing deal they offer. The only cons about the experience would be a few things about the room, like the laminate flooring was already pulling up and looks like it needs replacement already. Also the top part of the tap on the sink pulled right off when I went to use it. Other than that, which are things barely worth mentioning, I cannot say a bad thing about it. It's also close by the river valley, a park, and about a 10 minute drive to downtown and the popular 17th Avenue. Would definitely stay here again, assuming that they keep up to date with maintenance, but even so, for the price you cannot go wrong! :) :)

Stayed here multiple times with my family over the years whether visiting or passing thru! Yeah its got it's flaws but for the price its good!, neighbourhood is fast paced so no real threat. Timmies is a hop away and your situated on the #1 highway so you can find everything up and down the street.

For being a two star as quite happy. Had coffee in the room, tv was great. Room was decently clean, staff very friendly.

Excellent bed and breakfast. The hosts are kind and welcoming. The house was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent, a huge a variety of delicious food.

A wonderful place to stay! Spacious and comfortable room, spotlessly clean, quiet and restful, with all the amenities you could need. The owners are delightful, warm and friendly. I enjoyed the delicious made-to-order breakfast. Definitely worth visiting again and again.

I have never stayed at the Inn portion, yet my wife and myself have been going to this store for years to get our beer and wine! the beer is always nice and cold, the prices are way more fair than at least 80-90% of all other places in Edmonton, and IF YOU ARE A REGULAR CUSTOMER ONLY IT SEEMS, you actually receive appreciation from the owner/staff in the of trust I have never experienced before!!!! Never a huge line up, and PLENTY of parking/access. Everyone has always been very friendly to us and have never had any problems in 3 years. Keep up the great over there everyone!!!!

This is a cheap motel and there is no denying that. The suite I was in was small but well maintained. The bed and sofa was fairly hard. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep this is not a bad choice.

Good Hard working people

The restaurant has a really cool saloon feel! The food was delicious and the waitress was really nice.

Very nice good,clean cozy bedrooms. Friendly and very good manager. Only the price is a little bit higher than others but definitely it worth it. It was quite all the night and you will get enough peace there. They don't have restaurant so you should buy food from near by. Coffee is available in rooms. Hot tub too. We enjoyed a lot. I will go there again.
