Perfect timing to get a new sunglasses here before travel in Toronto. It's fit and match my face shape and style. It's worked perfect in sunshine Toronto. Price is good and excellent in house service too. Also ordered a prescription glasses at the same time, will collect of it when back from Toronto.

I am very happy to have found North Shore Optical Service. They repaired my reading glasses at a very reasonable price. Treating all customers well even for small purchases is customer service at its best! I would definitely buy my next glasses here. Highly recommended.

Bottom Line: Shop here if you want to look the best you possibly could in your new glasses. These are the experts and they have almost no limitations on what they can create you. Edit: Dieter surprised me upon arrival to show me not only the style I requested, but also one that he tweaked and made even better. I could not be happier with how my glasses turned out. What truly made this experience 5/5 is that Dieter really listens to feedback and wants to run the best custom business in BC. After discussing this review he has hired someone to take over website, and social platforms from Strozzi's. Original: Lets set the bar straight if you want to look good in your glasses Strozzi's is the place to go. Nothing is off the shelf and everything is bespoke for you,. This at first can be daunting when you are looking at walls of glasses and Dieter hits you with all of the awesome stuff you can do, but once settled in becomes a great experience. After about 15 minutes in store I had honed in on what I wanted and left to think on it as this was a fact finding mission to see where I felt I need to set my budget. When in the car on the way home I read Strozzi's few google reviews and my decision to buy Strozzi was actually reinforced by Dieters response to a 1 star review where he says something along the lines of "this on your first impression and people are going infer a lot about you in that first 3 seconds of meeting". With that being the case, combined with the fact that you have to use these every day why not get something custom for you? And why not look through quality Nikon lenses? Why not five stars well two reasons: 1. I have not placed my order yet (will be happening soon) so this judgement is not fully complete. 2. It would be really nice if these guys had an active social media to get a better sense of what others are doing so that I could draw from their creations. I would love to follow a Strozzi instagram or facebook page that shows me every time a great pair of glasses leaves the store. This could also be a great sales tool for in store to help cut through all of the options. Adding a simple unique #tag for the frame name could mean that you could search the tag for the frame you like and see what all the other people with that frame have created.

Prices run pretty high but the customer service cannot be beat. There were some QC issues with my prescription glasses and they remade the lenses, free-of-charge, no questions asked. I would recommend them.

Received less than ideal service. Older woman had an attitude from moment I walked in and refused to help and just sat at desk. Luckily a woman assisted after she was done with her client.

Out of business

This was my last day of insurance. Thank you for allowing my eye doctor to call my rx in!!! I was stressed out but you all took care of me!!!!

Well, I can't attest to the actual optometrist, but I have been trying to schedule an appointment for weeks. The very first time I called, I got the receptionist and she basically told me they don't ever schedule less than two weeks out because they're so busy. I told them fine, that would be very difficult for me to schedule with work and school starting soon, but I'd call them back... I have been trying to get ahold of them for WEEKS. I leave messages, and I'm never called back. The professionalism of this office is completely lacking.

Amazing stuff. They take their time to help and find the perfect fit. The collections are always with the good old models but also with fashionable new models. Friendly, compotent, efficient and professional.

The office that I work in primarily uses this office. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The owner will do whatever he can to make your job as an optician easier.

Though they have my prescription on file and I have ordered from them before, I was told I cannot re-order my contacts over the phone or online. This is just way too inconvenient in a world of Hubble, Amazon prime, etc. Taking my business somewhere more convenient.
