Horrible service. Had to return a ring that the company had shipped to me by mistake and charged my credit card and the refund took 4 weeks. The girl doing the return for me was very rude.

I would have to say this location is a disappointment. Had been given a gift of a necktie clip a couple of years ago. Went in ( I was in the mall for the lego store), was ignored by staff who were too busy talking to each other, just wanted some information on the clip about being able to buff out some scratches. After finally getting someones attention I was told it was not from this location and would have to go to wherever it was purchased from. I explained it was a gift and did not know the exact Birks and was given a sorry and the location of the downtown store. I feel uncomfortable giving a bad review but this location, not sure now looking that it is called Birks Maison Birks - perhaps some sort of outlet also judging by what was inside - is not up to par with the rest of their locations. I would suggest going to another location.

Honestly, the BEST service I've ever gotten. I had ordered a watch online and when it came, i found that it didn't really suit me. So i called this location to ask if i could exchange it and they were so accomadating everytime I called (and i called many times). So i went in store on Tuesday, jan 16 and a very nice lady came to help me right away and helped me exchange my watch with zero hassle. After i tried on my new watch, i found that the strap was way too big so i went back in to get it adjusted. Again, zero hassle and all were so kind. My mom and I have always bought jewelry from this location and after today, i plan on coming here everytime I want to buy something. Thank you so much to the kind ladies that helped me with everything!

Excellent service professional job extremely satisfied

I made a purchase of a ring, bracelet and a watch from from Vivah Jewellery at Women's College Hospital location. Less then one year the ring has turned a rusty brown in color which cannot be cleaned off, the bracelet which was hollow silver simply broke like a cheap tin can lid. I contact Vivah's head office and explained the situation and disappointment as i felt that I had wasted my hard earn money. The person I dealt with at the head office explanation was that I caused this to happen. She went on to day that this was not a manufacturer defect and the bracelet was unable to be fixed. As a consumer I purchased a product that broke by no fault of my own I would expect to be compensated and not have malicious accusations thrown at me to justify a poor quality product. After much disputing back and forth Vivah's head office personnel offered me the opportunity to pick out another bracelet. I thought this offer would offset my disappointment and frustration however it was explained to me I would need to pay for this new bracelet. This meant I would need to pay more money out of my pocket for this new bracelet. I had already lost money by purchasing the original broken bracelet for which I would not be getting back. When I protested the unfairness of this proposition the Vivah personnel at the head office (Tina) became agitated and suggested to me that she would retract her offer and I would end up with nothing. I felt this was like financial black mail as I knew she has the upper hand and I would walk away with absolutely nothing. I went to the Dufferin Mall location to find another piece of jewellery to just put the entire experience behind me and move on. Once there the options that I was offered was limited in quality as well as price. I opted to buy a pair of earrings as I did not want any more of Vivah's hollow silver. I paid for the earrings once I got home I realize the earring cannot and would not lock. So I am unable to wear the cheap earrings, I have been duped out of pocket money for a bracelet that cannot be repaired or worn as well as the same with the earrings and the ring. I did not contact Vivah regarding the earrings because after the first experience why bother I no longer wanted to fight about the poor quality of Vivah's jewellery and I was also not prepared to give Vivah any more of my hard earn money. I have always loved Vivah's jewellery but after this experience I now feel Vivah's jewellery is simply put jewellery that just looks nice to look at from a distance. The jewellery is a financial lost to purchase and a nightmare If you have to deal with the head office regarding the quality or disappointment regarding their jewellery. Going forward I will be purchasing real silver not "hollow silver" from reputable jewellers.

I consider Gente my family. I've been going there for over 35 plus years. Angelo never says it "can't" be done. He always come through. Just picked up me custom earrings and absolutely LOVE them!

Horrible customer service. Staff were extremely rude. Sent complaint email to head office only got automatic reply. Never buying Pandora stuff again

Pawned my watch there. No hassle when you dealing with professionals. It took him 30 seconds to authenticate and appraise it. Got my loan and was on my way in less then 5 min. Will do business here again that’s for sure.

If you are there ask for Gladis or Karina. Gladis deserves an award she's the best very helpful and extremely patient and so honest.

The diamond ring is perfect for my fiancee. Robert is so nice and patient. He helped us a lot to find the perfect rings.

Top notch service from a sales staff that is not pushy and extremely helpful. I dealt with Abby and Jennifer whom were so nice and easy to deal with. They made buying an engagement ring for the love of life very stress free. We had a few design changes during the process and it turns out it was for the best as my fiancé cannot stop looking at her left hand. Thanks for the top notch service and look forward to coming back here for all my jewel and watch needs.

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Michael Hill in Sherway, which we then purchased our wedding bands as well. Suzanne was a great help, knowledgeable, and it never felt like she was pushing us to make a sale, she genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchases. Even after a few months passed and I went in to get my ring cleaned she knew exactly who I was, it was great considering how many people they see each and every day. Would highly recommend visiting this location and speaking with Suzanne!

This place is fantastic for watch enthusiasts. The staff are all knowledgable and passionate about watches, which being down to Earth and focused excellent customer service all around.

OMG my experience was phenomenal. The three ladies that assisted me ( Teresa, Alex, and Jessica) were so spectacular ! They assisted me on finding the best piece and gave me plenty of options throughout my visit. I could really tell how much these ladies cared about the customers and each one of them had their own unique and wonderful personality that kept me smiling even when I had left the mall ... I would definitely recommend going to Tiffany's and seeing teresa, , Alex and Jessica, they will leave you much, more, than satisfied and with a huge smile .
