I took 2 rather large watches in this morning to have the batteries replaced. Both ladies working at the time were extremely pleasant to deal with. Both watch batteries were done in just a few hours for $30 total. I had read some reviews on here prior to dropping my watches off and was a little hesitant.. It's funny, people can sometimes complain about rude service, but you don't hear the retailer complaining about rude customers. It's a two way street. If you're rude, or demand unrealistic service, you are not likely going to have a pleasant experience. I will definitely return for future purchases/repairs/batteries.

I went to Calgary gold and i had an amazing experience. Even though i never purchased anything or made any transactions i highly recommend this place. I was greeted and helped by a korean girl, jiyeon. She was very respectful, highly knowledgeable and was able to point me in the right direction.

Absolutely loved my entire experience in dealing with this company. From the creative to the financial side, every part of the experience was positive and professional. When i was ready to propose to my now wife I talked to a few custom jewellers, James here by far has the most talent and experience out of all of them. On top of that, he's honest and helpful in suggesting what is best. For example he said i should propose with the diamond, and design the ring together. Best idea. When it came to the design, from our lousy sketch he quickly figured out exactly what we wanted and made a beautiful ring at an excellent price.

I went in to get a replacement screw on back that I lost for a diamond earring set that was purchased at this location in November. The girl helping was the one who had actually sold it to my partner and she was very friendly. She couldn't find what I needed and they were getting busy so she asked if she could call me once the other woman there could help find the right one. I went back even though no phone call and as soon as she saw me she ran the earrings out back to find a replacement. Took about 3 minutes. Total was going to be $25 each which was pricey but I was happy to have found a replacement. This woman turned me after telling me the price and said " See? This is why you buy the extended warranty. This would have been covered." Had she not been so snooty about it I wouldn't have minded so much. I wasn't even the person who had bought the earrings so not sure what she accomplished by letting me know that. And not the first pair of earrings I've owned and never had a problem with losing the back before these earrings.

I took my grandmothers mantle clock to Mo in October of 2023 as the spring had broken. This mantle clock was over 100 years and a limited addition. Mo said they would inspect and call me within the week. After a week i went to their store only to fins the clock was in pieces. They said the mechanism had to be replaced yet I had the spring replaced before. After 12 months and 5 mechanisms (used) I received the clock back which worked for a month. I went to another store who specializes in these mantle clocks and after inspection they said they needed a new wheel. I asked him why and he told me because it was worn out, another used mechanism. I was more interested in the sentimental value as it was a wedding gift for my grandmother. The store keeper told me this was an expensive clock and if in its original condition would be worth $5000. Mo charged me $650 to put used mechanisms and lied to me over and over again. These people really have no idea what they're doing. They really don't deserve a one star. If I could have given them a zero I would have. Bandits

I have used Layered Charm on several occasions now. I came across it doing my Christmas shopping. After 5 minutes of talking to the staff I walked away with the perfect personalized present for my wife that pulled at her heart strings!! Ever since then, it has been a go to to mark special occasions, holidays, family changes, and memories! Thank you Layered Charm... I owe you big time!!

Extremely slow service. Had to ask repeatedly for coffee refills. Took 10+mins to get our bill after asking for it. Will not return
