Worst customer service from the lady at the counter just plain rude!!!!!!!!

I have received gifts that were purchased from Gary J Long Jewelers since the 1980's. This store always has beautiful pieces to choose from and their service is outstanding. Not just when they are helping you choose a piece to purchase, either. I recently took my 5 carat wedding ring in to be cleaned. It also needed a couple of teeny, tiny stones that had fallen out of the setting. When I picked it up, it was absolutely gorgeous, just like new, with the stones being replaced and sparkling! When we took my ring back to the original jeweler we bought it from, they had replaced the stones once before but they were not the right size and not only did they fall out again but they didn't look right to begin with. Longs Jewelers did it right! Thank you! I would highly recommend them for all your jewelry needs.

I had my custom piece done at the age of 55. It is my one special piece I will have in his life time. I took pieces of jewelry I had gotten over the years from my mother and he turned those pieces into a one of a kind bracelet. Danny is the best.......he has always been wonderful to work with as a jeweler and "person". Thank you again, Danny......I love my jewelry!!!! God bless

I asked the manager, whom I’m upset that I forgot his name (he’s a husky guy with beard and glasses), to wipe a bracelet I was buying before putting it in the box since it was in the display case being the last one they had. He remarked he would do it even though it was brand new. After I paid, he said he had to go to the back to find a cloth taking the bracelet with him. The professional thing to do would be to bring the cloth to where I was at the counter and wipe the bracelet and then use that cloth to place the bracelet into the box. Well, he came back with the bracelet in his paws as if I was stupid in thinking he actually wiped the bracelet. He placed the bracelet into the box putting fingerprints back all over the thing without even trying. Piss poor customer service especially on Valentine’s Day !!!!!

I went into DeVons Jewelry this evening to get my bracelet repaired, and to have my watch batteries replaced. What an amazing experience I had! I had a warm greeting, smiling faces, great conversation, and not to mention exceptional over the top customer service!!! I can tell you this rare in our society today. I take the time to acknowledge the establishments that displays this service. We often times will be quick to post a comment about the awful experiences we have. I ALWAYS want to give those kudos out when they are due as well !!!

A gem of a jewelry store. The owner of the store, Jeff, is a stand-up guy and an extremely knowledgeable jeweler. You will not be disappointed with the price and quality of him and his family's work. One of the few 209 5 star businesses.
