Not high pressure! Sales staff was polite and friendly. Good options for whatever you want in jewelry.

I entered Juneau's Effy on June 27th to redeem my coupon for a free "glacier blue pendant" that my ship's "shopping advisor" highly advertised. Upon entering, I was not given my free gift, though I asked several times. It was sharks after blood from here on. It was obvious that this "gift" was only utilized to draw me in to the store so that the sales staff could harass me. I was pressured into looking at jewelry cases and repeatedly told I should and needed to buy today. They would not take "no" for an answer and the more I refused, the more they pressed. To put it kindly, the entire store experience was torturous, it left a bad taste in my mouth, and the saleswoman could've benefited from some good 'ole fashioned deodorant. I simply wanted my free pendant, which in fact looks nothing like the advertisement, NOT to waste half an hour or more.

I have beautiful memories of Juneau, Alaska!! On my trip I got a beautiful ring and earings, and later I actually ordered earings to match the ring.....I absutely love them and so do all my friends. Am so glad I made the decision... the designs are absolutely amazing. Staff were amazing too....Jane was so helpful and so courteous. So glad I made it to Alaska before Covid 19 hit the Globe.

I have the most beautiful piece. Their service is great. I purchased my ring ear rings to match in 2006 when I returned 2012 the owner actually remembered me. They offered to polished and fix one of the claws at no cost I now have 5 pieces from the them. Their prices are very competitive. I left with matching bracelet.Everyone says: "How lovely my set is, especially my ring". If you need anything, don't hesitate to make a purchase. I'm going to be back one day.

They did a wonderful job taking my grandmother's ring and refurbishing it and resetting and cleaning the stones. It was a lovely gift from her when she passed away and the Jewel Box made a difficult time a special time, with their care and detail. Many many thanks.

I bought some jewellery. Great custom designs, and selection. Gold Originals is a Yukon gem and a great authentic store for anyone looking for Yukon themed jewellery or keepsakes. And to the person who left a 1 star review because there is no email address, please pick up a phone or visit the shop. Some Yukon traditions require more effort than the comfort of online shopping.

I went in to get my wife's ring cleaned and walked out with an upgrade. The girls there are super helpful and didn't make me feel pressured into buying anything. They took the time to explain everything that I was getting and even taught me a little about diamonds. Definitely coming back for future occasions.

The owner/manager of this store is extremely helpful, and they have a good variety of surgical steel jewelery for piercings.

I've ordered a couple of custom pieces and my experience has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and Mike is extremely help with making an idea come to life.

Taylor's is consistently the best jewelry store in town! They mine a lot of their stones locally within Alaska, which makes their pieces even more unique and special. My family has been shopping here for 3 generations, and have never had a negative experience. My engagement ring came from Taylor's, and is a constant source of compliments (and pride, as the stone in it was mined in Alaska!). The folks who work there will go above and beyond to get you the perfect piece, will answer your questions, show immense patience if you aren't sure of what you're looking for, help with warranty questions, check in on your satisfaction of your purchase after the fact, and they send Christmas cards and even little gifts out to customers. On top of all of that, seeing them volunteering and working at community events in town just solidifies that you are supporting a company that supports our community. I came to them with a request for a specific ring with 2-3 days notice (I went in assuming it wouldn't be ready in time for our event since it was a last minute project) and they got the stone ordered, cut, and placed in a ring in time for us to present it at our event. It was unbelievable and I'm sure lots of extra work for them to get it turned around so fast, but they did it happily!

Absolutely beautiful and unique selections. The people were so inviting and helpful. I will definitely return to them in the future.
