Poor customer service. None of the ladies wanted to help as we waited for approximately 15 minutes. Not even so much as a acknowledgement of our presence or anything.

I upgraded my fiancée's ring and purchased an engagement ring from this store and placed it on layaway. We initially dealt with Ann who was very helpful and ensured we received the latest deals on the purchase price of the ring. When I went in to make the final payment and pick up the ring from another associate named Carolyn, I felt rushed by her. She didn't even take the time to ensure the address was correct on the appraisal which we need to insure the ring. She was aware we were travelling an hour from our home to pick the ring up and she did not have anything organized for us and did not even ensure the ring was cleaned and presentable. When my very excited fiancée opened up the box to expose the ring, she noticed the ring appeared very dull and scratched and was very disappointed with the appearance of the ring. I took it upon myself to bring the ring into a local jeweller to have it properly buffed and shined and it now appears brand new. Our local jeweller was amazed that Michael Hill sold such an expensive ring and did not take pride in the appearance of the ring upon sale. If this wasn't an upgrade and I used it to propose to my fiancé, I would have been even more disappointed as my fiancée even made a comment that it appeared that the ring was worn previously and returned to the store. I had a positive experience when we were shppping at Michael Hill for another piece of jewellery and the ring caught the eye of my fiancee when we were dealing with Ann initially. Ann was excellent, and their lawaway option made it affordable for us to purchase this particular ring. I would caution anyone going to this store to purchase an engagement ring and would encourage them to ensure the ring is properly buffed and shined before popping the question because I would not want anyone else to feel disappointed in such a beautiful piece of jewellery when it is not a daunting task to simply ensure the ring is clean and presentable for purchase.

This place is amazing. The gentleman that works/owns this place is so nice and so quick. He always tells you what he’s doing and talks to you while he fixes whatever you need done. I will continue to go back and continue to tell my family and friends about this place. If you need a watch or chain fixed go in. You won’t regret it :)!!!!

I found the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great place to go for quality merchandise and there's usually parking in front of the store or close by.

Wonderful experience for my Fiancee's Rings. Maja is excellent help and incredibly personable. Would recommend to anyone. Side notes -- Creates custom jewelry in a very professional and passionate manner. Does not do watch repair, nor battery replacement.

Store for expensive jewelry and watches bought my wife a watch all the sales people crowded near me helped pack it it. Follow-up visit next day came back to adjust the band size was told they were to busy come back later in the new year store was dead and everyone was standing around. Poor sales people and service my wife was with me needless to say she us far less happy with her watch now she thought it was a high-end store before this
