Welcoming and fast service

This locations has real issues with customer service. They've been formally reported under RBC's complaints process and now the company Ombudsmen's involved. The obese female bank teller has disgusting behavioural issues. There's no reason she should be allowed to continue on in professional capacity. Others in town also reported being berated and taking on ridiculous abuse by branch employees. Something's truly off about this location and I hope the company wakes up about this rotting corner of their business.

I don't usually review, but as I was checking my online bank statement I couldnt help notice a one-star review with no explanation. I'm guessing some rich troll with nothing better to do than hit a button to make people feel like crap. To a self-employed musician who has never had much money, the people who work at this branch have always been friendly, courteous and just professional enough to clear up any discrepancies (always my fault) quickly, efficiently and with good humour. I never felt belittled or looked down upon despite my economic inadequacies. The occasional NSF or extra sticky $20 that got deposited at the ATM by mistake was always credited to my account and I never ever had to beg or argue for some unreasonable charge (handed down from on high) to disappear or become an equitable compromise. I miss the amiable people there since I've had to move to the other side of town few years ago. This kind of service is so rare when it comes to all anyone seems to care about - money. Thanks a bunch, kids. You are missed.

Nice and friendly tellers

My mother is the executor of her mothers estate, and despite repeated insistance by her lawyers everything is cleared, this bank REFUSES to release the her mothers assets. Mom took the death hard and DESPERATELY WANTS to distribute the inheritances to the family so she can put all the sadness behind her and move on with grieving process. Instead, this bank has claimed that they are "too busy" to release the funds and they continue to steal the interest off of their ill-gotten holdings. It has been months. I would suggest, if you son't want your family to be burdened by a 6 month long fight and likely legal intervention, you may want to switch to a less greedy institution that will not prey on the emotions of your family.

Worst bank ever any time I get money they hold it no matter what cheque I get and their always charging me for fees for anything they can get their hands on also when I first applyed for my bank card they told me I was suppose to recieve all these scene points that never happend when I called about it they told me it wasn't their problem

Another big corporate machine, understaffed, service fees for everything, and personal banking representatives that change every three months , it's a reflection of the corporate attitude of screw the customer, even their own staff can't wait to get away from these pigs.you suck CIBC, as do all big bank's

Quick and friendly not too busy

Friendly staff. Great bank to deal with. The only problem is parking, never any on street spaces. The lot next to the bank is $1 to start and is ticketed often.
