Flooring

Take your business to someone who will care. We were looking for carpet in our basement. Our visit was good and we were told they would come the morning of installation to measure then would go back to get carpet since we were close. I was expecting them at 9:30 AM. 10:30-11 came, I called them and was told the installers were on their way. At noon they called and were lost. The owner had given them the wrong address. I made my appointment for the morning and had to leave at 2 so at this point there was not enough time to finish the job. I told them not to come. I called the owner again asking for an answer for the delay and why they had the wrong address. All he offered was a chance to reschedule. Never apologized, blamed me for not being available all day on a Monday, and then said it was not his responsibility to wake up the installers in the morning. Things happen. Take responsibility and find a way to make it up to your customers.

I'd recommend committing insurance fraud before I'd recommend their services.

Frederick's has a really good selection and the product is just as good. Thanks Nick!

Great to deal with professionals. From start to completion of the job. Owner was very knowledgeable about the products.Installers were quick and job was done with no problems. I would recommend this company to any and all of my friends that want any floor related products. Again the install crew were professional and took pride in the work they did. GREAT JOB!!! Thanks

Amazing staff and installation services

Very shady

Big ole' warehouse with limited knowledge employees Yes they may have the item you need but finding it and finding someone to help you is a challenge. I went to Zettlers up the street unfortunately he didn't have the part. I knew how my experience in Lowes would be and dreaded going. I see a guy in plumbing but he directs me to another guy who was making a key. Five minutes later I walk to find someone but had to circle back to him because no one but the first guy was around. I get back he is finishing up to only tell me to go find another guy in the other plumbing section. I go, and see young girls either in high school or fresh out. Now I am exasperated...I KNOW they don't know just by their demeanor. But I see an older man. I ask and he's already telling me the part looks too small and they probably don't carry it anymore....as one of the young girls is asking him where to find xyz for a customer. Anyway we get to my needs and he is searching finally picks a matching part but unsure and you can't open to compare. Despite all this, the part worked and I was able to repair my leaky bathroom faucet. A day at Lowe's...sigh

Had really good deals today

My experience and lowes was one of the best ever. I slept in the parking lot in my camper and never bought anything. Thank you from New Jersey !!!

I had David Wear come out to do some flooring work in my home. He installed some travertine tile around our fireplace and completed some laminate flooring installation and associated trim work. I was working on the day he was here, and he called me when he was almost finished and I ran home to pay him cash. He wasn't quite done, so I didn't get to see the finished product before I went back to work. When I came home at the end of the day, there were a few things I wasn't happy with. A piece of door trim was only nailed twice: top and bottom. It couldn't be nailed in the middle because it was sitting on top of the door latch hardware and sticking about an inch away from the wall. This made the door inoperable. Another trim piece had needed to be cut down due to the height of the new flooring. Instead of doing so he jammed it in at an angle and didn't put a single nail in. One side of the trim was about 3 inches away from the wall. The tile was not grouted correctly, and needed to be re-grouted to fill in the spaces between the tiles. And a transtion piece between the tile and laminate floor was cut too short and left a sizable gap. If it had been one simple thing, I would have dealt with it. However, as a small business owner myself, I appreciate feedback and want to know when my client's are not satisified. So I sent him an email with a few pictures of the issues and asked for his thoughts. He offered to come out and fix the problems. He called me on a Thursday evening and left a voicemail indicating that he could come out the next day. I called him back and left my husband's cell number since he would be home all day to meet David and let him in the house. David never called either number. I called him on the following Monday and several more times that week. I also emailed him. I started to block my number to see if he would answer, and finally got him to pick up the phone. We then set an appointment for 8:30 am on a Thursday. I indicated that I had to work that day, which is why we agreed on the early time. I waited until 8:45 and called him. No answer. Finally left for work at 9:15 (late) and called him two more times that day. It has been over a week and still no call from him. I am going to have to complete the work myself, or pay someone else to do that work that I already paid him for. Please be aware that he does not do quality work, and is not willing to fix any errors that may occur. He took our money and now won't take our phone calls. Quite disappointing.

Knowledge at it's best. Great customer service. Big change from 20 years ago, but quality flooring and pricing was great.

Staff wad helpful but not pushy. Installers were on point. Got it done. Love the results.
