Cheap and cheerful. Good solution for truck rental and utilitarian cars

Dissatisfied, reserved a rental with winter tires 2 days prior to pick up, called ahead to double check winter tires were available. Representative confirmed they were. When we went to pick up the rental car, there was not a car in the lot with winter tires. The representative did not apologize, and or offer any reason why. I got the impression he was lying when asked if they did in fact have any rentals with winter tires. Disappointing lack of communication & honesty.

i got Over charged, I used their car for 3 days but got charged for 4 days and the car was dirty in and out.

Came here to pick up a car we booked and paid for a month in advance... Then we found out there was no car available. Furthermore, they offered no apology, refund or help. We also missed the event we were meant to be driving to. Appalling customer service. Still fighting to get this resolved, but being met with total indifference.

Great service and good rate. Dropped the car off during off hours, provided receipt in car for fill up and took a pic for my records along with the mileage. Just follow their requirements and all will be good will rent again from them.

The worse car rental company ever! Rude customer service! Even the head office in U.S. I have a coupon that's valid until 31st of December 2018, and the day I'd like to rent is 17th of December. Still not even holiday though and then they say it doesn't apply because it's during holiday. How come you haven't even mentioned the dates in your terms and condition! Unbelievable!

No stars for Avis. They've lost my business. I've used them many times and found the staff to be helpful. But beware: the website suggests that paying online is the cheaper option. So, I paid online for my Thanksgiving weekend rental, indicating I would return the car first thing on the Tuesday morning. The charges, according to the receipt from Avis, were $178 less than my pre-pay, but their policy does not permit refunds on pre-paid rentals. I was completely misled by the website. I'll never pre-pay again, and I'll never use Avis.
