Bank

Though the people at this branch are great the company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. The people at the home office are difficult to work with. Tending to lie and procrastinate in their dealings with customers. I am finally free from this bank.

Business bank account was opened here. Friendly staff, not usually a long wait for a teller, and pretty convenient if you're in the west end of Hamilton.

Great service and staff

My account was closed with no good reason because someone fraudulent mistakenly paid into my account and I have not gotten my balance in my account back. They made me drive down all the way to this branch all the way from Ottawa, Canada about 5 times to resolved it and it has not still been resolved. This is one of my worst experiences ever with a commercial bank. I would advice you to stay away from Bank of America. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY BEFORE I GET LAWYERS INVOLVED !!!!!!

Poor Service arrogant teller Why go into the branch? It is obvious that this bank hires on the basis of politically correct hiring quotas....not merit. This teller acted like everything was a favour to me ...including depositing my money to changing the account to be associated with my account...A major undertaking to this individual.

Seems to be open like 2 hours a week

The staff make you feel like they actually care. The ability to walk in and hear your name being called without it being required it's just the staff wishing me well. I like that, they take some of the confusion about banking. Thank you to the staff of 65 Mall Road. There are a few others at another branch that have made a difference to me. If I could rate the bank for the people alone it would be 15 out of 10. The ugly truth of the institution with its fees and such it is an easy reminder that it is still a business. There is just so much that the staff can do....they still have to follow the service fee ways of all institutions. Yeah TDCANADATRUST

I wouldn't do any type of business with this bank. I am constantly having to call and inquire about why money just magically disappears frequently from my account and then they give some of the most ridulously stupid answers. For example I get charged $5 if bank fees aren't there... okay that's fine but they started charging me this $5 fee everytime I used my card meanwhile my plan is unlimited. Customer service proceeds to tell me that I was charged a $5 fee because I took out 60 dollars out of the machine but there was only "$50.60" I don't have overdraft so if don't have $60 guess what... ZERO dollar bills are coming out of the machine. Customer service wants to argue with you rather than listen to you and the wait times are ridiculous. Also be prepared to be put on hold 3 to 4 times. I've been on the phone for an hour because I noticed money missing from my account totalling $40.

Nothing like the big banks, you call and they know your name, you walk in they are actually happy to see you. Feels like small town-Canadian-local, just what I like. Amazing and glad I switched.
