Car Rental

Great service by Jay and good vehicles, no doubt he has these many reviews, excellent customer service and good knowledge about vehicles, explained me about connecting Bluetooth on the Dodge caravan, it was pretty tricky, but Jay helped and made me comfortable with the new vehicle. Would definitely come back to rent.

If I could give them MORE stars I would! The cars are clean and fresh smelling. The staff is wonderful and have the time to chat.(they should give other businesses lessons on customer service1) I have booked from them 2 times in the last month. Hertz here in Airdrie is a hidden gem!

Friendly pick ups, accomadating. Recommended

I booked a 16' cube van online and got a confirmation email to pick it up at the airdrie location. I drove from the from the south end of calgary only to find out that the location has moved to n.w calgary. When I finally got a hold of someone at that location I was told that they didn't have any cube vans available for rent. I ended up going to enterprise in airdrie and they gave me a great deal on a full size van (almost half price). So glad I didn't have to deal with discount rentals. They are so disorganized they don't even know where there locations are or what vehicles they have.

Great service with amazing rates. No surprises and brand new cars. Highly recommend. 👍🏻

Avoid the old and grumpy woman that calls herself a manager, Darlene. She lies and rips off customers.

Great customer service, used them as rental when my vehicles were gone for repairs. Friendly staff and very clean vehicles. I will definitely recommend them and will use in future too..

You may not expect good, honest and easy service from a car rental business but I have to say, I was very impressed. It's family owned which, in my opinion, makes a huge difference. They picked me up at the airport in a shuttle as it was a 5 minute drive from the airport. Instead of selling me on doom and gloom to buy the extra insurances (which ca be a lot), I was recommended that I call my personal insurance company to see if I was already covered for a rental which I was. When I was inside going over options, the guy who's supposed to be selling me insurance told me that the AMEX card I was using to pay, may already have coverage. Surprise; it did. They were straight forward, honest, genuine and didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. A lovely place, lovely people and I would 100% recommend that anyone looking to rent a vehicle drives the little extra to the airport to do so.

Was very impressed with the staff at the counter and in the garage. They were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasurable experience

Have rented many vehicles from various places, this place always impresses me.. never have any issues, get upgraded without a second thought whenever my chosen vehicle isn't available, quickly adjust my rental when I need it for another day, and Prices are very reasonable.. the people who show me to the car are also extremely friendly and super helpful.. good place all around!

Amazing staff!! I arrived with Vertigo, and the lady working there, let me sit in the car, and relax, then helped me to the terminal to check in. I cannot say enough good things, I wish I had gotten her name! Thank you!!

Georges with an "s" gave great customer service. Car rental was quick, easy and fast. Will use Hertz again.

Very friendly and helpfull

This place price gauges for fuel. How does 18 liters (roughly about 4.5 gallons) equate to $39 US Dollars. This should be illegal and should be stopped. BTW - for some reason you can't just top off your vehicle anywhere - you have to prepay for gas. I don't know how much a rental takes to top off. Beyond frustrating.

Charging an extra $20/day for winter tires DURING WINTER in Alberta seems criminal! This should be a standard safety item for cars rented in a place with snow. My car can barely get out of the parking lot and there's 2in on the ground. You wouldn't charge extra for seatbelts, would you?? Not recommended.

I rented a Mercedes c300 from here, awesome car! Customer service was awesome when I returned my car. I am not sure of her name however the lady that helped me was great.

I tried to rent a 12 passenger Ford Tansit van from Maxx rental and they denied my request. At first they asked for proof of insurance before they would confirm my reservation. I provided my Travelers Insurance auto policy Jacket which showed that I am fully insured in Canada for rental vehicles, specifically the policy noted that I cam covered for "any van" rental. Maxx told me that my policy needed to specifically state that I am insured for a 12 passenger van. I tried to obtain this language from Travelers Insurance but they would not change my policy to satisfy the rental companies desires. Travelers told me that the "any van" language should suffice, it did not. After 4 calls to Travelers and 4 calls to Maxx, the situation was not resolved and they denied my reservation request. I even had a manager from Travelers Auto call Maxx rental to discuss my qualifications. I would not recommend Maxx Rental to anyone. They are challenging to deal with, happy to waste your time and are not

Great customer service. My husband was looking for a Cargo Van, they didn't have one available for the date we needed but Balpreet found a Cargo Van in other place and gave us the address and phone number to contact them on Monday when they will open. If you go there ask for Balpreet. Good job Discount Team: 5 star customer service.
